Director of Research

Mr. Heaney directs Westpeak’s day-to-day investment research activities, and is a member of Westpeak’s Investment Committee. Prior to his assignment as a member of the research team, he developed internal research, portfolio management, trading, and client service applications. Before joining Westpeak in 1998, he was employed by Multum Information Services, in Denver, Colorado, as a Software Architect. From 1992 to 1996, he held the position of Senior Software Developer at Swiss Bank Corporation, in Chicago, where he developed and supported a global equity options/futures trading system. Mr. Heaney received an M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University, where he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, and a B.S. in Applied Physics from Dublin City University, Ireland.
