Westpeak’s culture revolves around a set of core principles or values. These fundamental beliefs define how we operate and guide us in our dealings with each other, clients, prospects, and other stakeholders in the firm.

  • Intellectually honest – We foster open discussion on all facets of our investment process and overall business. Ideas are considered on merit, not according to the seniority of the presenter. At all times, we search for the “truth” in our endeavors. This includes our investment process and research, but transcends to all levels of our firm.
  • Client-focused – We partner with clients/prospects to develop products specifically tailored to their investment needs. We further strive to provide superior client service, including timely correspondence, direct contact, and honest discussion.
  • Innovative – One of our core investment beliefs is that markets are adaptive. A logical outgrowth of this belief is that investment management firms must adapt or be rendered obsolete. Our culture encourages constant improvement of our investment process, aided by an environment geared toward continual learning.
  • Collaborative – We believe in teamwork in virtually all our activities. Internally, our integrated processes and controls require various people and departments to work together to create a seamless whole. Externally, this means building relationships with clients/prospects to allow us to develop new ideas that meet asset owner needs.
  • Transparent – We feel that trust is built through candid and honest discussion with the various stakeholders of the firm. We strive for openness and clarity in our investment process and decisions, to align the goals and expectations of Westpeak and our clients/prospects. We also pursue a similar openness among our employees, building a trust within Westpeak that can promote the collegial atmosphere needed for long-term success.
